A surreal, engrossing debut from another band of maudlin of the Well/Kayo Dot frontman Toby Driver with his girlfriend, Brîd, on vocals that sounds reminiscent to industrial groups like Nine Inch Nails and Skinny Puppy mixed with the styles from Plastic House on Base of Sky by Toby Driver's main band, Kayo Dot.

A 4.5 will do for now, but this is a genius work. Although I'm not crazy about the album art, I am prepared for this to grow on me. The drums and production are out of this world.
