5.0 classic | miamiscot | September 30th 11 | I can truly understand why many die-hard fans of this band deride this Ric Ocasek produced album: it just doesn't sound like the GbV many of us fell in love with. It sounds like a sell-out. But it's not. Not by a long shot. Packed with some of Pollard's best-ever songs, even the limp "Hold On Hope" holds up well despite the strings and what-not, making this the anti-Bee Thousand. I love it. And am also thankful it was a one-off.

4.0 excellent | TiedDown93 | April 23rd 20 | This record is amazing I truly don't understand the low rating. Some of their catchiest and sugary songs to date.
