Unlike most people who instantly write this off because "Beethoven's ideas often per-mutated so
much", The sketches used for this realization I do believe Beethoven had in mind to use for a 10th
symphony regardless if he may have changed them later. Therefore I do think Cooper has a
legitimate case to realize this first movement. Nevertheless, as someone who's listened to
Beethoven his whole life, this doesn't feel like Beethoven. It feels a bit too meandering and
romantic. Beethoven was alot of things, but he was never meandering.
