Review Summary: Great symphonic metal album. Good orchestration, great guitars. A little bit too much like Nightwish.

Review in English :
Until Dawn by Elvellon. This 2018 album contains 8 tracks and only 01:00:53 of music. According to Google Music it is categorized rock I heard last week this band on the radio Prog Rock and Metal (PRM), here is their site: http://www.progrockandmetal.net/. I liked what I hadheard and I promised myself to make a crack of this album. We have many similarities or influences with their contemporaries that is, Nightwish, Xandria, Within Temptation, etc. For me, the style of Elvelonne would be symphonic metal that carries towards the progressive metal, the power metal and even sometimes trash metal. The strength of this album is the power of their orchestral and cinematic arrangements. Unlike Nightwish, the guitar is much more elaborate and present. We feel the metal knowledge of the band young members. The mix is excellent and uniform. Which is difficult when the guitar is more technical and at the same time we have the presence of a heavy orchestration. The personality of the singer is much more defined in slow songs than fast. Indeed, the elements to improve from my point of view would be as follows. The singer sometimes sings too much like Nightwish singers. In addition, certain arrangements, parts of piano as well as flute looks a lot like the arrangements of Nightwish, often like the album Imaginaeirum. On the other hand, we integrate good electronics, guitar solos are very well composed and superior to those to which we are accustomed in this style. The melodies on some pieces (3,4, 5,6, 10 and 12) are excellent both in regards the voice, the rhythm guitar or the solos. We also feel the influence of world music, maybe Myrath, especially at track 6, which also reminds me of the Jungle Ride of Fish. Finally, a disappointment on this album is the finals of songs that are too often similar and the final of the final song of the album that does not live up to the set of the album. Finally, there are one keyboard solos (only track 12), I would have liked to hear more.
