2.7 average | manosg EMERITUS | January 9th 18 | Entertaining hard rock which ranges from Thin Lizzy territory ("The Great Escape") to '80s hair metal and sleaze ("Siren Song"). The cover art gave me slightly different vibes than the ones contained in the LP as I expected a more epic approach from the Norwegian power trio which is only evident on the album's title track. Overall, the level of songwriting isn't that high in order to provide some replay value and the loud production - a mistake that a lot of modern hard rock bands do - does not help either. Overall, an enjoyable listen but not much more even though there is potential.
