| 3.0 good | manosg EMERITUS | December 21st 17 | This is one of the most confusing power metal albums I have checked lately. On the one hand the instrumentation which is a mix between power/heavy metal is pretty good but at the same time, the vocals remind those of trained karaoke singers; and the thing is that the music here is vocals-driven. However, there are some great guitar solos, a few hooks and an overall unrefined yet somewhat infectious nature. In addition, the entire album is based on Lloyd Alexander?s The Chronicles Of Prydain - pentalogy of children's high fantasy Bildungsroman novels - so I guess those who are into those books will enjoy more this album.
