4.5 superb | daFigz | April 22nd 20 | Slow Meadow expands upon the previous sound by imbuing this album with nuanced ambient elements that create both horizontal and vertical sound colors. The tonality is superb as is the harmonic accompaniment of his very talented string players. This album reminds me of both Nils Frahm and Olafur Arnald's modern classical compositions. "Costero" might sound a bit melancholy if one hears the recording on a superficial plane. But with a deeper listening, one can find that the ensuing harmony, sheer melodicism, and nuanced electronic coloration combined makes for a rather accomplished neoclassical recording.

4.0 excellent | Project | December 8th 17 | One of the rare ambient albums where "subtle" and "heartwrenching" go hand in hand. "Hurricane" is one of the most powerful instrumental tracks of the year.
