I am always looking around for new music that I haven't heard. One day, I was in the mood for some rap, so I was looking around my local FYE, but I couldn't find anything that I hadn't heard...until this little disc caught my eye. The sweet-ass ride and all the dollar bills floating around...this album looked cool, so I plunked down my $8 and brought this baby home.

The group are called the Psychopathic Rydas. That's something I've never seen before in a gangsta rap group. The members wear bandannas and *** all over their face. I have absolutely no idea who they are! None of the voices sound familiar. I don't think the Rydas have made any appearances on records other than their own. I've since bought their other three records, and I love all of them.

The group's beats are jacked from other rap groups, like Ja Rule, Notorious B.I.G., 50 Cent, Kool Keith and LL Cool J. But the Rydas' rapping is so original and fresh that this doesn't even matter. The Rydas are Bullet, Full Clip, Foe Foe, Lil' Shank and Cell Block. The spitting and rhymes are the dopest I've heard from any rap group. It's been a long time since I've heard gangsta rap this good.

My favorite tracks are "Gangsta ***", "Nobody In Dis", "Ryden Dirtay", "BOOM!" and "Murder Follows Me". I didn't like "Never Gone Quit" so much. The voice of the guest rapper, Lil' Poot, is kind of irritating. He sounds like a white dude. But that's one flawed track. The rest of the CD is full of unique diamonds. I highly recommend this *** to anyone who loves real gangsta rap and hardcore ***. This is an album you've got to check out. Peace!
