1.0 awful | EasterInTheBatcave | December 31st 17 | Pop-punk can never be good, because what is innate in the genre is bad in and of itself. Trying to make a good pop-punk album is like trying to build a working clock from faulty blueprints. Everyone You Love Will Slip Away from You (I just winced from typing that), featuring Senses Fail's Buddy Nielsen and three guys from Finch, is another in a long series of bad pop-punk records. The more I think about this album, the more I hate it. I can only imagine the thought behind it: hey guys, let's play sonic refuse that sounds like it was recorded ten years ago - and it wasn't even good then! The butt-clenchingly bad band name and album title compound the atrocity, as do Nielsen's preachy, whiny 'lyrics' that I can only assume were compiled from entries in his third grade diary.

3.5 great | NBA | November 13th 17 | Fresh off their recent breakup with that asshole Nate Barcalow for wanting to explore new areas musically, the rest of Finch finally writes WIITB Pt 2 like they've always wanted. Coupled with vintage Buddy vocals and this album for many 20 somethings is nostalgia incarnate. Seriously sounds like it could've been made in 2003 and honestly that's not a terrible thing.
