On first glance, Commencing Countdown screamed Love It To Death due to the cover arts' similarity and indeed, Alice Cooper is one of the German outfit's influences. However, this is not their only influence as one can spot KISS, UFO and Budgie elements on Travelin Jack's sound. Overall, this is some pretty solid riff-driven heavy rock with ballsy female vocals which doesn't last more than it should and seems to have a reasonable replay value. Fans of Blues Pills and Royal Thunder should definitely check these guys (and girl) out.
