Review Summary: Engaging melodic death metal.

Arghoslent go right for the heart of the issue with Hornets Of The Pogrom by doing the exact opposite of what everyone else is doing within melodic death metal - creating something original. The band has been called ignorant or racist by many uninformed individuals, but what they really accomplish is making clear the disgusting habits of humanity. The Trans-Atlantic Trade Slave is discussed in graphic detail, along with historical counts of war created primarily for the decimation of specific races of people. The music fits the lyrical content extremely well with the constant illusion of marching feet, galloping fleets, and cannons blasting, creating the battlefields and journeys within the story. A slightly tiresome yet interesting guttural growl commands these armies, while the exciting and catchy guitar styling guides them down the path to victory. And leave it up to the rhythm section to make sure every breath is put to good use, while the enemy breathes their last. You'll be doing some air guitar, reading into the history of their discussions, and cheering them right along to victory too.

I would edit it Crysis, but we don't even have basic functionality on this website anymore.

And yeah I think they have new material on the way.
