Absolutely agree with Chuggy. It's a shame to see such a great band withering away... I absolutely loved Amoeba and Lazarus. Their last album was a step down but was somehow enjoyable, specially because of the excellent drumming. This is another step down in the wrong direction...

This is not the same band that released Lazarus.
There is something quite Western about this, kind of like when In Flames dropped Reroute. A kind of cheesy imitation of music from America that had been copied from Euros originally.
This EP sees the band playing around with some Grunge influences. The results are...odd.

ESL clean vocals and some questionable English lyrics are all over this thing - a common problem I hear in French bands in particular. Certain songs have whole vocal sections taken from Alice in Chains, not bad on its own merit but not great, either.
"Red Oak Tree" is the strongest vocal performance of the EP even if the music is kinda goofy.

"Treasure This Pain" is the highlight here, they go all-in on the western sound and I guess that's where you might as well be if you want to not sound Euro.

The drumming is super solid which is good to see, the band has always had a good ear for drums.

It's a shame to see a band like this wither away into obscurity as there are some genuinely good ideas and solid songwriting from time to time.
