| 3.3 great | Voivod STAFF | July 21st 17 | The '90s was a period during which tens of hundreds of demos came out from Hellenic metal bands, following the first wave of sparse, shitty for the most part, yet critically needed wave of Hellenic '80s metal albums and demos. And while the majority of those demos were buried by the dust of time for good reason, some of those endeavors can be safely deemed decent, not only in terms of the actual music, but also due to their genuine ability in "teleporting" the listener (especially the Greek native one) to an era in which to record, as well as release remotely decent metal in Greece, was nothing short of an athlos. In that spirit, Sanctorum have refurbished their 1994 demo, a tremendously decent effort in the adventurous (progressive, even) spectrum the melodic death/doom metal. Favorite track: Flight of the Dragons. Stream: http://sanctorumgrc.bandcamp.com/releases
