In order for a retro album to be enjoyable, the execution has to be almost impeccable. Unfortunately for American heavy metal outfit Ice Giant, this is not remotely the case. Everything is abysmal. The guitar playing is sloppy with uninspired riffs and bad solos, the drumming is all over the place or sounds not in sync such as on "The Tale of Rawonam" and the vocals are childish. The album actually sounds worse than a demo and closer to what high school kids would play in their garage during their initial gatherings.
