I appreciate the atmosphere a lot, but I think there?s a real lack of riffs and strong songwriting here. Doom is an easy cop-out for people to try and hide lacking craft with a slow tempo. The vocals are good, but don?t sound all too different from most modern Deathcore. Was a bit disappointed after hearing so much praise for the vocals. I certainly respect the idea and the aesthetic, but the execution leaves a great deal to be desired.
