Much like with their previous record Let Your Body Take Over, this band still reeks of stiff formulas and Kevin Skaff's grating clean vocals on What a Terrible Thing to Say; on a more uplifting note, Four Letter Lie do a slightly better job at balancing the pop punk and post-hardcore styles this time around, insipid as it may be.

At this point, the band seems confused at exactly what to be. While there are some songs that are worth checking out, most of it seems uninspiring and boring. Disappointment.

Much better than their first, they seemed to seperate the line between post-hardcore and pop punk a bit more- they stay almost entirely pop punk, then hit you with some metalcore punches.rPersonally, really enjoyed a lot of this album, but again its nothing new. they are fairly generic.

Heaps better than their first, and a shitload less generic. They actually sound like they're not completely imitating other bands on this one. A decent listen overall.

It's hard to find anything spectacular about this album. FLL has a bad habit of being overly generic. Nonetheless, it's still pretty good and post hardcore fans will definitely be finding these songs on playlists if they buy this album.

It's not original, it's not inventive, but it's definitely stronger and a whole lot more memorable than their previous, it's a great mix of pop memorable choruses and harder punches.
