Rising is a sludge metal group from Denmark. This band sounds kind of similar to Mastodon and Baroness, maybe a bit less proggy and more epic (in an Iron Maiden way). On this third album, I think they found the perfect balance between heavy-as-two-hells sludge metal and epic melodies. Tracks "All Dirt", "Old Jealousy", "The Anger" and "Death Of A Giant" are the album standouts. So, if you like bands like Mastodon, Baroness, Gojira, Crowbar, Black Tusk, Anciients, Kylesa etc. give this album a listen, you won't regret it.
