GBE is an interesting label to say the least. While it's got some guys that carved their mark into not only drill but into aggressive, hedonistic, and sometimes nihilistic hip-hop in general such as Chief Keef and Fredo Santana, some of the lesser known members either don't have the exposure or the output to do so yet. That doesn't mean the potential isn't there, though, as Terintino's Meat Roll shows. On it, Terintino strikes a strong balance between a lethargic, offbeat (in more ways than one) and leaned-out style and a harder, more upfront and threatening style, both being styles that his peers often use. He dabbles in both of them, certainly, but never truly subscribes the sound of the tape to either side of the spectrum. It's not anything that hasn't been done better, but it's a very entertaining and honest tape, and the potential to improve is there, probable even.
