Velvet Magic's sound is that of a vintage rock outfit fleeing towards sludgier/groovier shades of heavy rock, and flowering the formed substrate with discrete doom rock elements, while maintaining an equally discrete, yet utterly perceptible progressive rock character. Devil's Witches are not likely to disrupt the retro rock ecosystem any time soon, yet they made it a bit more interesting. Favourite track: Mountain of the Devil's Witch.
