Of all of the things that a post-hardcore band could choose to be their aesthetic, Give chose flowers. Somehow, this works. Musically, the band's playing style is that type of passionate post-hardcore that constantly toes the line between post-hardcore and straight up hardcore punk. On Electric Flower Cult, the band do what they're good at and play it close to the numbers. This makes for some pretty nice material, but ultimately it's nothing the band hasn't done before. If you're looking for some post-hardcore with a nice punch from this year, one recommends you give this a go.
