As far as albums exclusively consisting of covers are concerned, this is by far the best I’ve ever heard. Bowie, Cave or
Cash? Nowhere near. Both in terms of song selection and providing interpretations with a unique yet unified sound, Gore
does an excellent job. And the preceding Counterfeit EP is almost as good.
