A mix of black metal and ambient which brings to mind Elderwind. However, the songwriting isn't as interesting or inspired which makes this album somewhat linear. Nevertheless, there are a few redeeming features such as some very tranquil passages and parts that create dynamics which help Magic Transcendence not become an unpleasant listen.
