This album is fucking dumb. If the 'llama warfare' meets 'zombie apocalypse' album art hasn't already yielded a small clue, thrashers Alcor have released something that should really not be taken too seriously. Yet, it's actually seriously good. Tight, hammering riffs are combined with a quite delicious drum sound and equally fun, almost space-age solos to yield one of 2016's most genuinely enjoyable albums. It's fucking dumb, but the kinda dumb that you wanna hang out with it, probably with some beers and a lack of self-restraint.
