ri didn't really enjoy any album he dropped after the magnificent "be" and i was kinda worried about this release but looks like all he needed was something inspiring to make him want to push the envelope again. without preaching, common goes deep about the most noticeable social issues of nowadays through most of these tracks, bringing a more soulful sound to celebrate the black culture. its appeal is more limited this time around mainly because of that, though. 3.5-
