I've slept on this for quite a long time, but I'm glad I finally I've given this a listen... because this is an exceptionally excellent power metal release! I instantly fell in love with this because it contains top class and epic riffs (the guitarwork really outshines everything) - the vocals are a bit odd at first, but in time it's easy to get used to it. Amazing debut.

Good, but could have been much better. The review here on sputnikmusic nails it when it specifies that the riffs basically die when the vocals begin. Sing A Last Song Of Valdese is probably a good example of the potential they have.

The epitome of modern epic metal. Of course it's mainly made of power surges and galloping heavy riffs, yet the ancient aesthetic sounds surprisingly fresh here. The nasal vocals sounded kinda weird at first, but they soon proved to be the perfect match with these catchy riffs.
