| 0.0 | Scuro EMERITUS | June 3rd 17 | Three quarters of the EP pretty much consist of lonesome guitar strings ringing out in an attempt to build a bleak
atmosphere, but they really just come across as overdrawn and ineffective. The third track is actually worth a
damn, but it sounds like discount Misthyrming, a little less agressive and more desolate though. It's actually
pretty cool when they get into it, but impossible to miss the comparison and they don't offer a whole lot of
examples as to what exactly they are trying to do? I feel like there's potential here with the sound present on
track 3, but they REALLY need to learn that plucking and sustaining dissonant intervals does not alone a great
track make. I'm confused more than anything.
