Owl's Blood, hailing from Spain's Basque Country, have created a succinct slab of atmospheric black metal without any of the bullshit. There's no neo-folk, dodgy clean-vocalled section or natural field recording in sight - just relentless, cavernous blast beats, beautiful yet sharp-toothed riffs, and rasps losing themselves in the noise like wind. Glorious.
