My personal favourite interpretation of Verklarte Nacht. It's played with a kind of delicacy that's absent on Karajan's recording with The Berlin Philharmonic; notably less dramatic, but also unafraid to flaunt the uglier sounds that in turn compliment the more graceful ones, as Schoenberg presumably intended.
