This first release from Icon For Hire post Tooth and Nail sees them going all in the alternative
direction and shedding the rock side of their sound almost completely. The first song "Now You
Know" which is a very blunt attack on the sexism in the music scene. It is pretty good too, aside
from the rather annoying loop that makes up most of the instrumental, which is a bit of a big neg.
"Bam bam pop" shows that Icon was prepared for the backlash they would get for the direction
change, and they fired back preemptively. The Rap flow sounds pretty great and I do like the way
She fluctuates her voice here. The beat here while nothing extraordinary does fit well with
Ariel's Delivery.
also, remember when the entire Christian fan base freaked out because Ariel cussed?
