one of the better post-senile animal melvins releases, slipped by me at the time. very prominent bass (as opposed to the usual fuzzblend of guitar and bass) adds some dimension to the usual 70s-rock powerhouse riffing. first half is the driving sort of hard rock shit you expect and side 2, the "experimental" side is a lot more interesting than a walk with love and death's experimental slog
