Few outfits death/thrash as ferociously as their South American counterparts; Chile's Ripper is a strong case in point, although few heads turned when Raising the Corpse was released. That album's sole flaw was the lack of diversity, however Experiment of Existence is improved therein, while maintaining the frantic pace of its predecessor. The bassist lies at Steve Di Giorgio level (maybe higher), managing to improvise in between the organized chaos. Favourite track: Neuronal Unity stands as first among equals: Stream: http://unspeakableaxerecords.bandcamp.com/album/experiment-of-existence

Solid release, exhausting and ferocious. The bass is insane.

The riffs. I could end this soundoff right there because on the riffs alone this album could glide by easy. But mix that with an excellent rhythm section and great production and this just fucks me right up the ass. I have a few minor nitpicks: bass should be a little higher in the mix. Vox could get a little more emotive. Hes got a good voice but come on, break the usual bark with a crazy scream now and then or something. Lastly (and i never thought id say this), the bassist needs to scale it back just a tad. But anyways, these guys are master songwriters and this is one of the best modern thrash albums ever pissed.

Thrash metal in the vein of early (Schizophrenia years) Sepultura. Primitive sounding but still tight, this album recalls the younger years of thrash metal and holds onto the main ethos of the genre, never sounding too polished or derivitive despite it's modernity.

Guitars are quiet as shit but everything else here is solid, standard fare death-thrash
