Not sure where to go, die Toten Hosen ended up making an album whose songs are mostly just as good as on "Unter falscher Flagge", but it's obvious that they wanted a much cleaner sound than before, which doesn't suit the songs at all. This lack of orientation and some missteps in the songwriting make this their weakes record up to that point, but "Damenwahl" still has enough classics and forgotten album tracks justify ist existence. Still, it could have been a lot better.
