The follow up to this album is one of the greatest Prog rock records ever made imo, so a few years after my initial listening, i?m exploring Phideaux?s other stuff, firstly this trilogy. This is a good album. A bit less prog than i was hoping for, but there?s an infectious AOR meets goth vibe to this that i really dig. It?s a fun album, but i think it could be shaved to a tighter 45 minutes.
