Thor sound like they are satirizing every cliche about "epic metal"; truth is however, that they don't. In a nutshell, here's what Metal Avenger has in store; Standard arrangements - AC/DC meets early Judas Priest - support vocals soaked in falsettos, singing overly simplistic - and quite often hilarious - lyrics. The aforementioned said, the album safely files under the quote "average albums that are worth listening".
