| 5.0 classic | GPRK2001 | September 14th 19 | A crucial entry into coldrain’s repertoire. One which makes the band stand out among it’s Japanese peers. Vena
showcases incredible vocals from the frontman Masato Hayakawa, who pours emotions into all of the songs.
“Gone” and “Whole?” being very good examples of this. Extremely catchy riffs from bassist Y.K.C. (Also known
as Yoko among his band mates and fans) on tracks such as “Words of the Youth” and “Wrong”, all being
exceptional standout songs on an already perfect record. Papa Roach’s front man Jacoby Shaddix makes an
incredible impact on “Runaway” and makes the song a special landmark for Coldrain. Especially considering the
fact they were all massive fans of Papa Roach growing up. This is an album which is destined to make them
heard across the globe. 5 out of 5 stars.

| 3.5 great | c0nf1n3d | November 16th 15 | "Vena" is yet another style change from coldrain, and while overall not perfect; is still a decent change. The track opener "Vena" is very misleading for the rest of the album, as this is more of an alternative-rock album versus a post-hardcore album. The best description for the album I can give is: picture the We Came as Romans self-titled album, with better song composition, and choruses that are about as catchy as Hoobastank's. There's "Vena" in a nutshell. Also, the two best songs from the album are "Wrong", and "Gone".
