Winning contemporary jazz record of the year in 2000 was no small feat. The Flecktones are in top form here, from Wooten's tenor bass rhythmelodies and ridiculous soloing ability, to Bela Fleck's fusion-folk banjo playing, to future-man's incredible emulation and enhancement of a full jazz drum-kit. This has plenty of crossover appeal to fans of "jam", funk, and porn. How does this not have a full review up?!
