Massive album, even though this is "just" straight-forward Finnish black metal. But this band just really feels it how to write good albums. 'Nekromantia' and 'Puhdas' are superb jams.

A simplistic, raw black metal record which somehow never fails to be consistent in its delivery. The first two songs are notably the weakest, but from that point onwards the album seems to take a more maturer songwriting ethic into consideration, even improving on the vocals and general musicianship which is certainly rife in songs like "Puhdas" and "Sodan Roihu" amongst others. Whilst it does sometimes prove a little uninspired, the album should please fans of black metal if nobody else.
