3.0 good | Kris/KJ | December 21st 11 | Pretty ironic that Yngwie's album Magnum Opus is nowhere near his best. The vocals on this record leave a lot to be desired, and are sometimes just downright annoying. Ygnwie is good but also nowhere near his best; a decent album, nothing more. "Crossing The Line" is great though.

3.0 good | manosg EMERITUS | June 14th 16 | A definite upgrade from The Seventh Sign, Magnum Opus is again a blend of neoclassical and commercial rock/metal with a flavor of power metal. The biggest flaws of the album are the song placement along with the subpar vocal performance. The strongest material can be found on the second half with only "Vengeance" being a strong track on the first half. Nevertheless, "Fire in the Sky" alone is worth the price of admission.
