of Montreal's unparalleled live energy transfers absolutely onto this record. An absolute must-have for fans, that doubles as a greatest hits of sorts for newcomers to the band. Most of the cuts on here are the ultimate forms of these songs (especially the Sunlandic Twins tracks), surpassing their studio counterparts.
My only qualm here is that we have no representation from Paralytic Stalks, which I hold to be the greatest of Montreal album. Spiteful Intervention in place of the Fairport Convention cover would have been completely doable.
