A collaboration between members of more (Amebix, Voivod) and lesser known (Misery and War//Plague) heavy/punk rock/metal outfits, the self-titled Tau Cross album does keep the appearances; Unfortunately, that's all there is to it, as beyond a certain point, songs sound same-y... The vocals took a few songs to get used to, and the clean singing is not the best, but overall this is an
enjoyable album. It fuses the punk, slightly doomy metal, and folk elements very well.
