Enter My Silence is another melodic death metal band but this time they come from Finland, not Sweden. Remotecontrolled Scythe is their debute album and it reeks of In Flames influences, but in a good way. This sounds like a perfect mix of old In Flames and Divine Souls. You have the thick and harsh vocal work and track dynamics from In Flames while the melodies and heavy rhythms represent Divine Souls. The album is very melodic, catchy and aggressive but it is very generic and it tends to drag a lot. There are hardly any standout tracks, only Inhale/Exhale has some memorable riffs. Split and Articulate are also good tracks. If you are a diehard fan of In Flames you will probably love this.

Solid Finnish Gothenburg-styled melodeath, nothing more, nothing less. There isn't anything here that reinvents the wheel in particular for those not already well-acquainted with the genre, but melodeath fans are sure to find a good time here with its accessible production and solid riffs.

VERY satisfying first listen. Never saw this coming from a cd that doesn't even have an album cover posted. Someone told me once not to judge an album by its cover.. D=
I hope to revive this rating in the future, but I think I can confidently put a 3.5 on something as satisfying as this on a first listen. (This is coming from a guy who worries about rating an album he has 10 listens to due to just not having enough of a 'feel' of it -- whatever that means.)

This album just did it for me. Ver well produced and nicely thought out. Inhale_Exhale , for me, is a stand out track with an awesome opening riff which fades out into a very techno style drum beat and atmospheric ambience and bursting into growling vocals. Not the best album ever in the world but at the time of listening i thouroughly enjoyed this. Worth checking out
