| 3.0 good | Acsheff | September 25th 15 | It's definitely not excellent, but it is pretty fun. There's a good amount of creative electronic
stuff going on, and they have a decent sense of dynamics. Worth a listen.

| 3.0 good | OsgWarrior1 | April 9th 15 | "The After Party" Is California Electronic Rock band Ghost Town's Second full length LP, following shortly after their debut album "Party in The Graveyard", The After Party is overall a pretty big step from the band's first Album, or their Acoustic EP "Bare Bones". The band in whole has seemed to have grown and matured substantially from Party in The Graveyard's angst filled feel and more "Party" rock, electronically heavy sound. They also seem to have evolved quite a bit lyrically, taking a much more vulnerable, "see all evil" sort of attitude. With songs like "I'm a Disaster" in which their lead singer Kevin "Ghost" McCullough seems to bear his soul a bit with lyrics like "I'm a disaster/I'm a fuckin' mess/Always losing/Always bruising/Never faked it/I'm never changing". In total, this album has its ups and downs, some songs seeming musically a bit like a filler and a little unnecessary with tracks like "I'm Weird" having very minimalistic lyrics, essentially repeating "I'm Weird, i'm weird, and I hope that she likes it" a few too many times, but being redeemed with their well-done instrumentation and songs such as "Carnival" and "W.F.F.". Overall, it's a pretty versatile album. Even if you're not a huge fan of electronic rock (i'm not particularly myself) there's a good chance you'll find something on this album you will like. In total, it's a fun album with lots of hidden gems, catchy lyrics, and definitely worth a good once over. r
