3.0 good | Grungil | November 29th 20 | From Fun to Freightning in a matter of seconds, this is a highly entertaining album if you are a bit familiar with NY No-wave scene. One of the best John Zorn works before Naked City.

4.5 superb | GhandhiLion | July 17th 17 | Holy moly, Arto Lindsay is fucking insane. Incredible Zappa influenced free improv.

4.0 excellent | EasterInTheBatcave | January 24th 16 | Four different parts, each played by a different trio, make up Locus Solus-- a record comprised entirely of no-wave improvisational compositions. Zorn is the only constant, though the record isn't as fragmented as would be expected from that fact. The album is also surprisingly engaging. It is a difficult, atonal listen, but manages to stay interesting for over an hour. Zorn himself, looking back on this record (it is one of his first) called it 'weird,' and if the man himself says that, you know it's really, really weird.
