The lead man from this band once said that without weed, he couldn't write songs. Truthfully, he can't write songs with weed either.

The main, maybe even only, problem with this
album is Barnes' shoddy and unreliable vocal
performance. There are a couple instances
where it's decent, and other instances where
it becomes cringe-worthy. With a better
vocalist, this could easily be a 3-3.5

Pathetic. The first four tracks are decent at best, the rest is boring, uninspired trite. Most of the riffs sound like a variation of Doomday's opening riff. This is most obvious on Bled to Death. Vocals are way too low on the mix, but seeing how Chris Barnes destroyed his voice it's no wonder they mixed them so low in the first place. The rhythm section does nothing special during the entire record. Six Feet Under should concentrate more on songwriting rather than smoking weed.

Bad album. Extremely repetitive and absolutely no variation whatsoever. Listen to the first 3 tracks and you've listened to the entire album - then again, that is basically every SFU album, but yeah.

I like production, SFU sound is really strong and heavy, unfortunately, Commandment suffers from lack of ideas. Track 1 is really catchy anyway.
