I like this album a lot, speed metal tinged power metal. As always Axel Julius has crafted some fine tunes. There are some real Scanner classics present here my personal favourites being F.T.B, Warlords and The Battle Of Poseidon, most of the other tracks are really great too. This would have been a solid 4.5 from me without Pirates (please leave that kind of thing to Running Wild) and The Legionary (week closing track for an album this good). The main criticism of this album for my part would be that I would have preferred the lyrics to have some kind of concept a la Hypertrace instead of the rather boring, pedestrian lyrical content that we are presented with. All in all a great album and a fantastic return to form but please please try a little harder with the lyrical content.
