How do you judge a badly produced album with a weak drum sound, almost inaudible bass and a singer whose vocals are an acquired taste or even a make or break point? In the case of Crystal Eyes, everything is saved by the magnificent melodies and the brilliant guitars. Right when you are ready to dismiss In Silence They March as a hoax, a beautiful riff, a lead or a catchy chorus pops up and makes everything so much better. The music is influenced by the likes of Helloween, Running Wild, Judas Priest with a few hints of Manowar. If only every element of this LP was as strong as its songwriting...
