A great collection of singles and album outtakes that stands as an outstanding album in its
own right. Mesmerizing in headphones, particularly 'Repetitive Monotonous', 'Catcher' and
'That Familiar Look to You'. And 'Spin Cycle' is also just downright beautiful on a rainy
afternoon. Although L&L certainly drew influence from MBV, Stereolab, Cocteau Twins,
Rollerskate Skinny and Wire among others, their particular unique blend was all their own
and has, in turn, proven to be itself influential in the years since and in recent shoegaze
revivalism.
