Though often classified as black metal band, they take more influences from gothic and death/doom metal, combining it in their own way. You surely won`t find no black blast tempos here, record goes mainly in mid-tempos and it is very melodical with lead female vocal alternating with black metal male vocal. Soulgrind is a band that definitely deserves attention because they are quite unique and have enough creative abilities and musical skills plus interesting lyrics.
"Pakana" means "Pagan" in Finnish.
