Without Wendy Carlos's haunting, schizophrenic score, The Shining would have been a lesser film, and maybe even an entirely different film.

While Wendy Carlos is one of the many artists on this soundtrack, she creates very good horror
themed music that is quite intense and scary. The whole soundtrack is really good but the horror
parts are amazing.
