| 3.5 great | mkamrass | June 6th 14 | Kight as a new band stays true to the roots of the pop punk genre but also has an experimental side on their debut that sets them apart. The more experimental parts are the first third and last third of the album where they add interesting electronic elements and other cool production tricks (the most experimental song being "Live Your Life" which was awesome). The middle third of the album is more just typical pop punk that does not add anything new to the genre but is still enjoyable for the most part. To be also noted, the female vocals on "Don't Go" were a great addition to the album and it would have been cool to hear them on more songs. Overall, very enjoyable album!
